A hostel in Lisbon taught me to pack a sink stopper

I spent 20 minutes trying to wash my socks with a plastic bag before a guy from Germany handed me his rubber plug. Anyone else find a cheap item that saved a trip?

Buy a pack of two and keep one in your travel bag too, @noahchen. I swear, the number of times Ive stayed somewhere and the sink plug was either missing or broken is ridiculous. Once I had to use a plastic bag and a rubber band in a hotel because I forgot mine. Never again. Now I just toss one in my toiletry kit and forget about it until I need it. Best few bucks I ever spent on something I barely think about until the moment comes.
