Vent: the $2 part that ate my whole weekend on the Integra
Spent Saturday chasing a rough idle on my 91 Integra, swapped plugs, wires, the whole deal. Turned out to be the little vacuum line under the intake manifold, the one that's like 4 inches long and costs $2 at AutoZone off of Exit 12 in Salem. It took me 9 hours because I had to pull the manifold twice, once because I dropped a bolt into the engine bay and once because I put the line on backwards. Anyone else had a stupid cheap hose or clip make them question their whole project plan?

Wait, how did you figure out it was that line? Did you just start pulling hoses one by one or did someone on a forum point you there? I'm asking because I've got a 94 GSR with the same rough idle and I keep throwing parts at it like an idiot. Also how the hell do you put a vacuum line on backwards, isn't it just a tube? Unless there's a check valve in it, then yeah I get it. Just trying to learn from your pain before I burn my own weekend.
