TIL that pulling parts from a junkyard in Phoenix during summer is a whole different game
I was at Ecology Auto Parts last July hunting for a radiator for my 98 Civic. It was 112 degrees and I spent 45 minutes just trying to get one bolt loose without sweating through my shirt. Since then I only go early mornings or winter months for any major pull. Has anyone else found their junkyard trips get way harder in extreme heat?

That 112 degree heat hits different when you're wrestling with rusted bolts. I swear Phoenix summer turns every simple task into a survival challenge. It makes you realize how much of our daily lives we just don't think about until the weather decides to fight back. Like I remember trying to change a flat tire on the side of the 10 in August and the pavement was so hot I could barely kneel on it. Heat has this way of making the most basic things ten times harder and people who don't live here have no clue.
