Spotted a gem at the Pick-n-Pull in Tacoma yesterday

Honestly, I was just looking for a window regulator for my Civic, but a whole row of early 2000s Ford Rangers had perfect, rust free beds. Tbh, that's a goldmine for someone doing a swap on a rusty project. Anyone know if those beds are a direct bolt-on for a Mazda B-series from the same era?

Man, I saw a whole thread about this exact swap on a forum last month. Pretty sure the beds are basically the same truck underneath, so the bolt holes should line up. Wouldn't you still have to check the fuel filler neck, though? Those Rangers are getting so hard to find without rust.

Wouldn't it be nice if these trucks came with a manual that actually told you what fights you're signing up for? I tried a bed swap once and ended up with a truck that had three different bolt patterns in the same spot - my toolbox barely fit after. You're dead right about the filler neck, that thing is like a secret boss battle you don't find until you're already elbow deep. And don't get me started on finding a rust-free Ranger bed, I've seen cleaner frames on a sunken ship.

Oh for sure, the bolt holes are the easy part. Did you see if they talked about the tail light wiring at all? I tried a bed swap on my '94 and the plugs were totally different, had to splice everything. And yeah, the filler neck is a whole other headache, mine was rusted solid. Finding a clean Ranger bed around here is like winning the lottery lol.
