Rant: cheap aftermarket bushings beat the urethane kit I paid $140 for

I put a $140 urethane bushing kit in my 1998 Civic two winters back and by this spring every single one was squeaking and two had cracked, while the $22 rubber set I threw in my truck just to get it through inspection is still quiet after 40k miles. Everyone on here swears urethane is the budget move but my own driveway says the cheap rubber outlasted it. What are you all actually running that holds up on rough roads?
