Used to think $500 cars were just money pits waiting to happen. But that first startup after months of work, it changes everything.

Not sure I'd go that far with @theawest, it's still just an old car that'll break down again next week. A win's a win I guess, but it's not exactly life changing.

Man that feeling when you hear an engine catch after months of silence is like pure MAGIC, better than any new car could ever give you. Nobody talks about how those cheap projects FORCE you to learn things you'd never touch otherwise, it's a whole different level of satisfaction.
