Thought I saved money buying bulk rice at the warehouse store

Spent $40 on a 50lb bag of rice that got weevils after three weeks because I don't cook rice fast enough. How do you actually store big bags of dry goods without them going bad?

Man, I used to think those big bags were the ultimate deal too but then reality hit me hard. Now I just portion it into freezer bags or big mason jars with oxygen absorbers and it lasts forever.

Oh man, you just reminded me of the time I found a five-year-old bag of rice in my pantry that still looked perfect because I had sealed it like that! Those oxygen absorbers are magical little things for sure.
