Hot take: meal prepping on Sunday vs cooking fresh every day

I used to spend my whole Sunday making 5 days of meals, like chili and rice bowls for $2 a serving. But after 3 weeks, I got so bored eating the same thing by Wednesday that I'd order takeout anyway. Now I do quick 15-minute meals each night using canned beans and frozen veggies, which cost about $1.50 per meal but feels less wasteful. Which side are you on, the big batch preppers or the daily cookers?
