Bought a whole chicken for $5.49 and it took me 3 days to use every bit
Last Tuesday I grabbed a whole chicken at Aldi for $5.49, figured I'd just roast it for dinner. Ended up with 4 meals from the meat, then boiled the carcass for broth that made 6 cups of soup base. Never realized how much food I was throwing away buying just breasts or thighs. Has anyone else tried stretching one chicken like this?

My buddy tried this and burned his broth so bad the fire alarm went off.
