Spent 4 hours tracing a dead USB port on my PC only to find the plastic tab inside the case header was bent flat

I reseated every cable, swapped ports, and even reinstalled drivers before I finally shined a light in there and saw the little tab crushed down flat against the pins, so does anyone know if I can bend that back without snapping it or am I just buying a new case?
