Question about why everyone blames the plug end first when it's almost always the strain relief
I fix charging cords for folks at my dental office on the side, and in 14 of the last 20 dead cords people handed me, the actual break was right where the rubber meets the plug, not inside the pins. Everyone wants to wiggle the plug and call it, but if you bend the cord near the boot and it still cuts out, that's your bad spot and no amount of pin cleaning will save it. Am I the only one who thinks we should all be testing the strain relief before we toss a cord in the trash?
