My Xbox power brick ate the carpet in a Denver hotel room
Checked into a hotel last month, plugged in my console, and woke up to burn marks on the rug where the brick sat overnight. Has anyone else had a power supply get hot enough to singe whatever it's resting on, or am I the only guy who needs a cooling stand for a cable?

Man, that's wild. I read somewhere that those power bricks can hit 140 degrees if they're blocked, so yeah, carpet is basically toast.
