My $90 HDMI cable died mid playoff game, a $7 fix from the hardware store saved me
My 25 foot HDMI run from my PC to the TV in the next room started flickering during the fourth quarter last Sunday and then just went black. I had already blown $90 on a fancy "certified" cable 8 months ago, so I was not about to do that again. On a whim I grabbed a $7 signal booster from the bin at my local Ace in Boise and put it inline near the TV end. Zero flicker since, and that was 3 weeks ago. Anyone else running long HDMI runs that act up, what ended up working for you?
