DAE have a cable that only dies on the one day you need it?
Last Tuesday my laptop charger quit 10 minutes before a video call with my biggest client, and the backup I grabbed from the junk drawer had a frayed end that sparked, so I'm asking what you all do to test a cord before you trust it again.
That frayed end that sparked is exactly why my buddy almost burned his desk down last year. He started doing the wiggle test on every cord now, bending it near both plugs while it's plugged in and watching if the light flickers. Takes ten seconds and he hasn't grabbed a bad one since.
