Can we talk about how my HDMI cable worked fine for 2 years then died the day I had 4 friends over for movie night?

Sounds like bad timing more than anything, HDMI cables just wear out after a while from being plugged in and bent around. Four friends showing up didn't kill your cable, it was probably on its way out for weeks and picked that night to quit lol. Just grab a new one and move on, this is not some big cursed movie night story.
