A customer at my grooming table grabbed my clipper cord and said one thing that saved me $60
Last Tuesday a lady brought in her anxious terrier and while I was trimming around his paws, she pointed at my clipper cord and said 'hun, that kink near the plug is gonna snap on you mid groom.' I shrugged it off, but two days later the cord died right in the middle of a doodle's face trim, and I had to finish with scissors while the dog shook. She was right, the bend right where the cord meets the strain relief had worn through the inner wires. I taped it up with electrical tape for a week but it kept cutting out, so I finally ordered a replacement cord for $12 instead of a whole new $70 clipper. Now I check every cord on my table once a month, has anyone else had a cord die at the worst possible moment like that?
