TIL a 1998 Dell Optiplex runs Windows 11 fine with 8GB of RAM and a $22 SSD

I got the tower for $15 at a garage sale in Toledo and dropped in a SATA adapter and a stick of DDR2 I had in a drawer, and it boots faster than my old work laptop did. Has anyone else squeezed a modern OS onto a machine this old, or am I just wasting a weekend?
