Hot take: the guy at the junkyard in Dayton told me to grab the window regulator from the passenger side, not the driver side
Said they wear out opposite ways and his $15 one outlasted the one I paid $60 for online. Anyone else got junkyard parts that beat new ones?

That passenger side trick makes sense when you think about it, since the driver door gets opened way more the wear pattern flips between sides. So a passenger regulator off a wreck is basically a low mileage part even if the car had 200k on it. Junkyard guys know this stuff because they've seen which bins stay full and which ones sell out.
