Hex vs Torx on my 89 Civic, torx won by a mile
Stripped three hex bolts on my alternator bracket swap last month. Swapped to torx bits from a $12 set at Harbor Freight in Phoenix and they bit in clean. Same torque, no cam-out, worked on rusted frame bolts too. Anyone else ditch hex for torx on older cars?
