Bought a $9 soldering iron from a flea market in Tulsa to fix my truck's blower motor resistor, and it actually outlasted my $40 one
Took 3 tries to get the solder to stick because the tip was so crusty, but once I filed it down it held better than the fancy one ever did, so what's the cheapest tool that's ever surprised you like that?
