Visited a job site in Austin where the crew was laying brick in 105 degree heat with no water breaks
I watched three guys go through two pallets of brick in four hours without a single sip of water, and the foreman got mad when I offered them my cooler, has anyone else seen sites treat hydration like it's optional?

Ehh, I get the concern but honestly people act like a couple hours without water is some war crime. Those guys are adults, they know they can bring a cooler if they want one. Maybe they just didn't feel like it in the moment or wanted to push through and finish faster. I've worked outside plenty and sometimes you just get in the zone and forget to drink for a bit. The foreman probably didn't want some random guy slowing down his crew with a distraction, not because he hates hydration. I mean yeah drink water when it's hot but this whole thing feels blown out of proportion, lol.
