TIL my old foreman's tip about wetting the brick before laying in July heat was dead right
He told me back in 2019 on a job in Tucson that dry brick would suck the water right out of my mortar and the wall would crumble, and I laughed at him until three courses in when the mud set up faster than I could tap it level, so now I'm curious what everyone else does when it's 105 out, soak them, dunk them, or just work slower?
