Finished my first full chimney rebuild in 3 days, and the homeowner actually shook my hand
Spent last Tuesday through Thursday on a 1940s house over in Ferndale, and the old mortar was so soft I could scrape it with a screwdriver. Has anyone else noticed the older brick up here is way softer than the new stuff, or am I just getting slow?
