Cleaning out old wire nuts from the van turned into a $15 wire stripper find that changed my tune

For 6 months I was tossing every little scrap of 12 gauge into a coffee can and finally sorted it last week, and a $15 wire stripper from the bin at my supplier made a whole 5 gallon bucket of scrap worth $90 at the yard instead of the $40 I would have gotten for bare copper, so has anyone else found a cheap tool that pays for itself that fast?
