Update: hit 100 finished books this weekend and the number that actually surprised me was 12
I finished book number 100 on Saturday, a rebound copy of a 1974 Rand McNally road atlas my dad used on family trips. What caught me off guard is that 12 of those were re-binds of the same book, a damaged 1958 Farmer's Almanac I keep finding at estate sales around Dayton. Never set out to make a collection, it just happened because the paper is nice to work with and the signatures sew up fast. Anyone else end up accidentally building a pile of one title without meaning to?
12 rebinds of the same 1958 almanac is wild but I get it, once you find a book that sews up nice it's hard to stop. I've got like 6 copies of a beat up Boy Scout handbook from the 60s sitting in a box because the paper folds just right. Sorry about the Dayton estate sale thing too, that's a lot of driving around hunting the same title.
