Showerthought: My leftover bookbinding leather ends up as coasters now
I used to toss them, but cutting them into squares gives them a second life. Feels good to waste less, lol.

Seeing this makes me realize how much we can use things again instead of tossing them. My wife started saving fabric scraps for quilt patches, and it's the same idea. Little changes add up over time.

Totally agree about little changes adding up. My partner saves all our glass jars from pickles or pasta sauce. We use them for storing leftovers, holding pens, even as little vases for flowers from the garden. It feels stupid to buy containers when we have a cupboard full of these perfect ones already. Makes you see trash in a whole new way.
