Question about that old paste recipe from the library workshop

Heard a new binder call it 'outdated' and it made me miss the smell of wheat paste in the old shop. Anyone still mix their own from scratch these days?

Everything's getting called outdated these days... makes you wonder what they'll say about the stuff we use now in ten years.

man my buddy rick still rocks a flip phone from like 2008 and people look at him like hes got a rotary dial or something. the thing takes pictures that look like mashed potatoes but it survives being dropped off his truck roof into a mud puddle no problem. meanwhile i replaced my smartphone twice this year because the screens get these little hairline cracks that spread like a spiderweb. funny how we call the stuff that lasts forever the old junk and the new junk the upgrade.

Outdated" just means it works too well for too long, right? Gotta make room for the new stuff that breaks faster.
