Glue brush burnout after 30 books, finally found the trick
Honestly, I used to dip my brush straight into the PVA and it would get all crusty and ruin the spine on my last few binds. A friend at the Austin meetup said to wet the brush first, then dip it, and it made a huge difference. Anyone else have a basic glue habit they fixed late?

Ha! I was the same way, my glue brush looked like a fossilized dinosaur after every project. Took me way too long to realize wetting it first was a total game changer, guess I'm just slow with the basics.
