Dropped $85 on a 'professional' corner rounder and it chewed through my board like a beaver
So I finally decided to stop hand cutting my corners with a knife and bought one of those fancy corner rounders everyone raves about. It showed up Tuesday, I clamped my first piece of Davey board in there, and it just mangled the edge. Tried a thinner board, same thing, torn fibers and a jagged lip. I went through 6 practice cuts before I realized the blade was set backwards from the factory. For $85 I expected to not have to take the whole thing apart on day one. Called the shop in Portland that sold it and the guy just laughed and said yeah they all come like that. Anyone got a rounder that actually works out of the box, or should I go back to my knife and a sanding block?
