A binder in my guild pointed out my headcaps were too tight
She said my books were opening stiffly because I was pulling the thread too taut across the spine. I started leaving a tiny bit of slack, maybe a millimeter, and now the text block moves so much better. Has anyone else found a sweet spot for thread tension on rounded spines?

A millimeter of slack seems like such a tiny thing to worry about.

Saw my buddy's project fail from a tiny gap like that.

Right? It's wild how those tiny oversights can snowball into huge problems later on.
