TIL my book club voted down a 400 page novel because 'it's too long' and picked a 380 page one instead
I get that nobody wants a brick, but 20 pages was the whole argument at Dana's place on Tuesday, and the shorter pick is honestly denser. Anyone else think page count is a lazy way to decide what's worth reading?
