TIL I finished book #47 this year and that weirded me out

I hit 47 books read this year last night and I honestly didn't think I'd get past 30. I'm not some speed reader or anything, I just started taking my lunch break at my desk with a book instead of scrolling my phone. I know some people in this club are reading 100+ but 47 felt like a big deal for me personally. Anybody else hit a number that made them stop and think wait really?

Did a buddy tell you it still counts if you fall asleep reading with the book on your face?

Huh, yeah I used to think reading numbers were just flexing but 47 is actually impressive. I changed my mind on that, you put in real time to get there.
