TIL a 19 year old at my book club said she DNFs any book where the author describes a character's outfit for 2 pages
She said it at our Tuesday meetup in the back room of a diner in Kent, and half the group nodded while the other half got defensive about world building. Now I want to know, where do you all draw the line on descriptive passages before you put a book down?
