Paid $22 for a used copy of the book we picked, and the 40 pages of notes in the margins made the meeting
Our group read Bel Canto and the previous owner had argued with the text on almost every page, underlining whole paragraphs and writing 'no, she would never' next to the ending. I brought three of those notes up at the meeting and we spent 45 minutes on them instead of my own questions. Has anyone else had a used book's margin notes basically run the discussion for them?
