Our club's 'no re-reading' rule got me reading 3 times more this month
We kept getting stuck in the same debates about literary themes because half of us were re-reading passages to make a point. Someone in our group, I think it was Sarah, suggested we only discuss what we remember after one read, no flipping back. It worked, we actually argued about the story itself instead of quoting lines. Anyone else try limiting how you interact with the text before a meeting?
