Our club switched to picking books 6 weeks ahead and honestly I miss the chaos
We voted in March to lock in titles six weeks out because half the group kept showing up without finishing anything, and our talk went from 90 minutes to about 35 within two meetings. People do finish now, but the chats feel like a checklist and nobody argues anymore, which was half the fun. Did your club ever fix a problem and lose the thing that made it fun in the first place?
