Our club split 7-5 over picking a 600 page doorstop or a 180 page novella for November
I pushed for the short one since half of us stalled out on the last big pick back in August, and turnout jumped from 5 people to 14 at the meeting. For clubs that have tried both, does the shorter book actually get more people to show up, or did we just get lucky with this group?
