My book club's whole plan fell apart right before our big meeting

We were set to talk about 'Project Hail Mary' last Thursday, but our group chat just died two days before. I found out our usual host's kid got sick, so she couldn't have us over. I had to call everyone one by one to move it to my tiny apartment. We ended up squished on my couch, but the talk about the book was still really good. Has anyone else had to save a meeting at the last minute?

That scramble to save plans happens so often now. Feels like everything needs a backup plan just to get through the week. Glad your book talk worked out anyway.
