Just realized picking the next book by coin flip saved our club from a 3 week fight
Our club in Toledo got stuck for almost a month arguing over two picks, a 600 page history book or a short mystery novel. Nobody would budge, so I flipped a quarter at the end of the meeting and the mystery won. Turns out the history fans were just tired of long books, and we finished the mystery in 2 weeks with our best talk all season. Now half the group wants the flip to be official rules. Anyone else settle book picks with something dumb like this?
