I thought our club picking short books was lazy, then we did a 700 pager and nobody finished it
For two years I rolled my eyes at our rule of nothing over 300 pages, thought we were just dodging real books. Then in March we voted for a 700 page doorstop and only 2 of the 9 of us made it past page 150, so now I'm the one defending the page limit. What's the longest book your group has ever finished together?
