I finally found a trick for keeping my book club on track during the actual discussion
I tried a timer for each person's comments at our last meetup at the downtown library and it cut our rambling by half, has anyone else tested a strict time limit?

Wait you actually used a timer at a book club? Like an actual stopwatch or your phone? I feel like that would make everyone nervous and rush through their thoughts before they get cut off. Did people actually like it or were they just being polite?
