TIL a boilermaker at the Local 13 hall told me my tube rolling was too fast, and my joints stopped leaking after I slowed down

He watched me roll a 2 inch tube in about 4 seconds and said "you're spinning it like a drill, back it off to 8 seconds and let the metal move," and I have not had a single leak on the last 40 tubes I rolled, so has anyone else been taught a set time per tube size or do you just go by feel?
