Showerthought: That 'simple' flange alignment on the old Pittsburgh boiler took me 14 hours.
The original blueprints were off by a quarter inch, so every hole we drilled was wrong. Anyone else had a print lie to them that badly?

Ever notice how this stuff happens with cheap furniture too? The instructions will show a perfect fit, but then the pre-drilled holes are just enough off that you have to force it and hope the whole thing doesn't split. Makes you wonder if the people making the plans ever actually build the thing.
