I used to think euro games were all just dry point salads

After playing Brass: Birmingham three times in one weekend last month I finally get why people love the resource management and tight decisions, and I am hooked now - has anyone else had a similar conversion experience with a specific game?

Actually, Agricola came out first in 2007, not 2012 like some people think. It's been around long enough to turn a lot of folks onto worker placement games, so you're in good company there. But I'd say Le Havre is the one that really clicked for me - it's got that same tight resource puzzle but with a smoother learning curve than Agricola.

Oh man, same here! For me it was Agricola. Always thought it looked like a boring spreadsheet. Then a friend made me play and I got absolutely crushed. But that feeling when you finally get your farm running smooth and feed your people? Hooked. Now I love those tight worker placement puzzles. Nothing beats that sweet satisfaction of a perfect turn.
