Had a kid at a gaming con change my mind about party games
I always thought party games were a waste of time for 'real' gamers, but a 12 year old at Pax Unplugged last year challenged me to a round of Codenames. He explained his logic so clearly and beat me twice, and I realized these games take more skill than I gave them credit for. Anyone else had their mind changed by a younger player?

Blame it on the blue shell every time, but deep down you know that kid was spamming item boxes like a machine. Honestly though, those kids have zero fear and they don't overthink every turn like we do. Plus they've got that muscle memory from playing eight hours a day while we have jobs and responsibilities. You didn't lose to a kid, you lost to pure focus and lack of sleep schedules.
