Watched my brother's show taste flip in about 8 weeks and I need someone to explain it
Back in March my brother swore he would never watch a show with subtitles. He called it reading homework and made fun of me for two seasons of a Korean thriller. Then he hurt his back and was stuck on the couch in Phoenix for 11 days with nothing to do. I left my laptop there on day two and by day four he had finished the thriller and started a Japanese one on his own. Last weekend he texted me a ranked list of 14 shows, all subtitled, and asked why I never made him try this sooner. So what flipped him? Was it boredom, the injury, or does one good show really just break the seal? Anyone got a pick to keep the streak going, because he is burning through my list fast.
