Oh man this brings back memories of when I watched season 2 of something and skipped the first 10 minutes thinking it was just a recap of season 1. Turns out they killed off a main character in that opening scene and I spent the whole season being confused about where they went. I had to go back and rewatch it after I finished the season and felt like such an idiot.

Blaming myself every time now. I used to skip intros too until I missed a whole explanation about the magic system in one show and spent episodes confused about why rules kept changing. Now I sit through every intro just in case, even when it's a song I'm sick of hearing. Never worth the risk when these writers love hiding important stuff in those opening minutes.
