That 96% Rotten Tomatoes stat for Dark on Netflix blew my mind
Saw on their wiki that only 4% of critics gave it a bad review and that fact alone made me start season 2 after I was ready to bail on episode 3, has anyone else been turned around by a random stat like that?

The 8.8 on IMDB for Dark is what got me through the first few episodes. I remember checking my phone during a slow part in episode 2 and seeing that score. I told myself if that many people rated it that high, something must click eventually. I stuck with it and by episode 5 I was completely hooked. The time travel gets way easier to follow once you stop trying to understand everything at once. I think a lot of shows just take a few episodes to find their rhythm. Did you end up finishing the whole series?

Totally get that. Sticking with a show just because of its rating is something I've done more times than I can count. Honestly, Dark is one of those rare ones where the payoff is absolutely worth the patience.
