That 90s sitcom I skipped for 20 years finally hooked me
I never watched Seinfeld when it aired, figured it was just annoying people yelling about nothing. Last week I ran out of stuff to watch and gave season 1 a shot out of pure boredom. By episode 4 I was laughing at the dry cleaning bit and binged all 9 seasons in 12 days. The way they recycle tiny setups into huge payoffs is seriously underrated. Anyone else have a classic they avoided forever and then couldn't stop?
Nine seasons in twelve days? That is not humanly possible unless you gave up sleeping, eating, and talking to your family for two weeks straight. I get it though, once a show grabs you it really grabs you, and Seinfeld does build jokes on top of jokes like nobody else. I skipped The Sopranos for years for the same dumb reason and then watched the whole thing in a month.
