That 8 hour true crime doc turned me into a paranoid mess

I watched a docuseries about a guy who hid cameras in Airbnbs, and now I'm checking every smoke detector in every rental I stay at. It took about 3 episodes for my brain to flip from 'this is interesting' to 'this could be my next weekend trip'. My girlfriend says I'm being ridiculous, but then last Friday she found a weird USB charger in our hotel room that wasn't plugged in and she didn't sleep all night either. Has that show messed with anyone else's travel habits, or am I the only one who can't look at a mirror the same way anymore?

Bro same, that doc completely rewired my brain. I literally unscrewed the light switch cover in my bathroom last week just to make sure there was nothing behind it. My buddy called me insane but then he admitted he's been checking his rearview mirror for trackers every time he gets in his car now. That USB charger thing would've had me packing my bags at 2am, no joke. It's wild how one show can turn casual travelers into full on conspiracy theorists overnight.

I used to roll my eyes at people who said a documentary changed their whole worldview, not gonna lie. But this one actually got me checking behind my own bathroom mirror yesterday, and I felt stupid doing it, yet I still did it. It's kinda scary how much that show makes you question stuff you never even thought about before, like once you see it you can't unsee it.
